Only four books have been sold! For this to be successful, we need families to participate! Please consider selling just one book! 

To Order: Tickets come in books of 10 – each ticket is $5. Email Christine Plaza at cplazapa@gmail.com with the number of books you would like. If you are requesting over $100 worth of tickets, we request that you provide a minimum payment of $100.

Deadline Extended to Wednesday February 28! Final payment (checks payable to PRBB) and all ticket stubs must be returned no later than February 28 to Christine Plaza or dropped in the band box. 

Raffle Prize: For the PRBB Spring Raffle, the prize is  two seats to all three sessions of the NCAA Division 1, Basketball Championships.  Games are on March 15 & 17 for a total of 6 games. Along with the tickets, the winner will also get $200

Student Eagle Scout Project

Band student Jack Hutchinson is working with Mr. Scott to build much-needed shelves in the band room for his Eagle Scout Project. Jack has been soliciting for donations from other sources to support this project.

As this project was also one of Mr. Scott’s wish list items, the Band Boosters approved at the booster meeting to provide financial support to this project as well.

Announcing 2018 Scholarship Application

The PRBB will be awarding four $500 scholarships – 2 scholarships will be given to seniors who will be majoring in music in their post secondary career; 2 scholarships will be awarded to seniors who will be non-music majors in their post secondary career.

Spring Band Trip! April 27-29, 2018 – Norfolk, Virginia

We are excited to announce the Spring Band Trip! From April 27-29, students will have the opportunity to travel to Norfolk, Virginia with the band. See final trip itinerary.

Didn’t sign up but interested in attending? We have about five openings! Parents of students interested in attending the trip who did not previously sign up, please contact Mr. Scott at bscott@pinerichland.org. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Payment Update! The final payment will be due March 5. Please do not send payment now – the final amount due will be announced by March 1. Please note that this date changed since the deadline for the spring raffle had to be extended.

To help in your financial planning, the payment due will be under $285. The total trip cost is $535. Your deposit of $250 brings the outstanding amount to $285. After the Spring Raffle fundraiser, the executive board will have the total trip fundraising funds raised to determine the final trip payment due.
